We had a good "stick around" snow Wednesday night. Although it was freezing (high of 18!)yesturday, convincing the kiddos that it was just way too cold to go outside was just not working. They got themselves all together to go out and I watched from the door, BRRRRR.

Little D was the first to venture out. (Only because the other 2 had school work to complete first)

Then the other 2 came to play, it was cold and getting colder though, so it only lasted maybe 15 min. I was surprised Little D didnt turn into an ice cube. She was out there for almost an hour.

Hebrew w/distractions

School is always interesting with a 3 yr old added to the mix...dad was trying to catch up on the Hebrew classes they missed last week. However, being that dad doesn't teach as often, he doesn't understand the challenge. At least I was there to run a bit of interference.

Looks like a focused study right.... well keep in mind this is what is going on around them...

Berry Bucks...my new strategy...

10 Berry Bucks

So this is my new stategy...Berry Bucks earned for doing their daily activities, staying on time, having a good attitude and making super choices.

They can spend them on their extracurriculars. Yesterday, I had them make a list of their privileges, because of our normal financials the things that cost extra money are BIG $$. I think this will put the XBOX and computer into perspective and have less yelling in the house (I hope). We have 21 basic rules for our house, break any of them and you lose some berry bucks.

I also had the kids make their own schedule. We discussed everything we had to get done each day. Then I put a blank schedule in front of them and they put the order together.

So far so good, they finished everything so far today ahead of schedule. We had a few attitude problems, but the bucks thing seemed to work for now.

I miss my blog....

I cant guarantee daily posts. I have learned my lesson, I think there. However, I do like puting up my hoorahs and fun days. So once I get my pics back in order, I will update with new pics too.
